Daniel got B during his preliminary round and later moved up to A.On the group battle , Kang Daniel teamed up with Ong Seongwoo , Jonghyun , Hyunbin and Kim Jaehwan to battle another group on the song Sorry Sorry by super junior . They showed their amazing coordination and won against the other group .
Unfortunately , Daniel was the only member that got defeated by another group member Seonho on individual votes.He got only 33 votes.In wanna one go , he shared he felt embarrassed during that moment and had thought to quit .But who would knew the performance will make him famous overnight.The popularity of Daniel grew after Sorry sorry .
For position evaluation , Daniel choosed dance .The popularity was immense after his thigh cut dance in his concept evaluation performance , Open Up .He beat Park Jihoon to seat on First place and maintained it to the end of the show.
